Yes its that time of year. We are approaching Christmas and that is followed by New Years. With New Years comes that word that begins withe R. Yes you know the word.
Its ok to make a Resolution. But 90% of the time those resolutions last a week, a month, maybe 3 months. But we make an Excuse as to why we had to stop, why its not working etc. So why not start NOW, today with a small step to making a change for the New Year and New YOU?!
I am committed to releasing the last 50lbs for my journey and I want to do it by my Birthday in June. I have slacked off on the exercise, not eating as clean as I was, allowing more excuses to win. But Come Jan 8th IT IS ON!

I use a 3 simple step system, I do meal prep to prevent excuses from winning (excuses aka drive thru) and I get up and move at least 3 days a week. But when I first started I was using the 3 steps and moving 1 day a week and eating better but not cleaner. Over time my desire for the crappy food was less and I craved fruits, veggies and cleaner options. We finally did it. I am moving forward with my secondary business and growing another stream of income doing something I am passionate about.
I am starting a meal prep business launching in October is the target. I have seen so many of my friends struggle with the other services like Blue Apron and Hello Fresh and I decided there could be a open door for me here. Yes I know the market is saturated with these types of services but I want to take a different approach if the client allows me too.
My service will have 3-4 options and they get to choose. There is the option for us to prep together in your home, me coming to your home and doing it alone, I prepare menu, recipes, grocery list and you prep it on your own, or the custom service where we plan what you want. The first 2 options will be a limit of 15 meals and a hourly minimum and a mix of breakfast, lunch and dinner. As a secondary offering I will grocery shop for your session as well with a fee plus cost of groceries. My mission is when I leave they have the knowledge to be able to do this going forward, maybe they use the menu service or if all else fails I am in their house maybe every 10 days. We will see. The pricing was the hard part but when I look at other services out there I think I have priced it fairly and there will be some bonuses along the way.
What are your thoughts? Would you allow someone in your home to prep your meals for the week? Would you want to learn alongside them for future prepping alone? what about having a girls afternoon and prep some basics like 2-3 meals then go home with 3-4 recipes?

Ever heard the saying, ” it’s not a sprint it’s a marathon”? Well let me tell you I am half way through the marathon and I can hear the crowd at the finish line I just can’t see it yet.
I wore a new outfit today and it is pictured below. Let me tell you 2 yrs and 53lbs ago I wouldn’t be caught dead in it. Form fitted and barely covering my tushy……NO Thank YOU! But today I felt amazing, beautiful, proud, determined and so many more adjectives but you get the idea.
When I started the journey August of 2015 I had no idea what was about to happen but what did I have to lose but weight! I am forever grateful for my friend Kristy for introducing me to the products and for Logan Stout having the business mind to put this on the market that he did, Direct sales. My #1 mission from day 1 has been to get healthier, show people there are better options, and make money IN THAT ORDER. I give my discount away all the time and when I do I do not make one red $.01. I am OK with that because I just want people to be able to change their health for the better. Don’t get me wrong the money is great and it allows us to do things normally we would have to save for and give up other stuff to have it. For example we have a debit card that our commissions go onto each Tuesday. I have let that card sit except for maybe 4 times since December and we are using it for our Vegas vacation for Food & Beverages. If you have been to Vegas it ain’t cheap anymore but thanks to helping people get healthy and the lack of me not needing every sweet treat on the shelf we have it covered for 5 days and 4 nights. I love whipping out my paycard with my cute little blue man on it.

Today is Day 1 for my next 30 day challenge with IDLife. Each month since January IDLife has sponsored a transformation challenge. Top male and female wins a $1000. I set this as my goal and on March 10th the winners were announced…… My name was the second one to be called!!!!!!!!! I can’t tell you the emotions I went through, first I was like what is that my pic, then I was like wait a minute that is my picture, then I wanted to rewind the video but it was a FaceBook Live so I had to wait until it was over to watch it again! I started crying when it hit me that I had achieved the goal I sat out to hit on February 1st. I believed in myself and so many around me did as well and I couldn’t believe we had achieved it! At that moment I knew exactly what would be next, set the goal to win the $1000 in March. I have 38 lbs left to hit my ultimate weight loss goal of 88 lbs. I will achieve it this year and maybe even by my 47th birthday in June. But if not by June I will not beat myself up and I will continue down the journey. The weight didn’t come on over night and won’t be released overnight.
So today is Day 1 for the new challenge and I spent all of Sunday doing meal prep and making sure my excuses were covered, meaning there is no way I can order pizza, or run through a drive thru because I didn’t plan lunch or dinner. Breakfast is covered with my IDLife meal replacement shake. With all the standing at the counter and stove yesterday I think I aggravated my SI joint so I was hurting a bit. I am hitting the gym tonight to work out this SI pain it will be some light bike work but I will achieve what needs to happen.

How ya feeling today? Hungover? ate too much of the wrong foods? Brady won again blues? Dirty Birds blew a 25 point lead against the Patriots frustration? Can you tell I am anti – Patriots? Yup Colts fan til the end and we all know they have not been our favorite opponent each season, especially after deflate gate.
But here we are into February and I just wanted to see how you were doing? Keeping your resolutions? lifestyle changes? or have you fallen off the wagon? I am still going strong with my changes. Down 5 lbs in January and working it in February to win a competition to work out with Jen Widerstrom in April at our annual IDLife conference. She is an investor and partner in IDLife and she comes each year does a workout out for those that earn it and then speaks to us. Last year she brought the Hernandez brothers and Colby! It was awesome and the brothers are so down to earth and honest. I didn’t get to meet Colby but I did the brothers, as you see below and later that night we ran into them again while eating dinner and they took pics and chatted with us. When you see what they went through and how they overcame objections and greater amounts of weight to lose than I have I realize that I can do this and will do it. Believe my I still have my days and sometimes i fight the demon and other times I have a small amount of whatever the demon is serving me. Do I enjoy the demon’s servings? Occasionally but I am starting to get to the point that I am working hard and I don’t want to blow it so I resist the urge and I turn to veggies, apples, nuts or I drink my IDLife Grape hydrate or Mixed Berry Energy to take the craving away. I would be lost without these products and to think they taste so good and are good for me is crazy!
Did I indulge yesterday during the Super Bowl? Not really. I ate some veggies and dip and I made sausage/cream cheese pinwheels and I had 2 of those and a small handful of plain chips and drank my water. Past Super Bowls at our house would have consisted of wings, pigs in a blanket, sausage balls, nacho dip, cheeseball and crackers, veggies and dip and some sort of sweet treat. Oh and let’s not forget the soda, lots of soda. The game sent back to a place I haven’t been in a long time and that was emotional eater avenue. I was so frustrated to see the Falcons blow that lead and send the Pat back home Losers that I went to the kitchen and grabbed a cookie, chips and a soda. Needless to say I took 2 swigs of soda, ate one cookie and about 6 chips and told my husband to take it away. While I wasn’t proud that I gave in I was proud I pushed it away and didn’t eat it all. This is a baby step process and as I say many times I didn’t get to the weight and size I am today overnight and I won’t lose it overnight, over the month, or hell even a year. I have been on the journey for 1.5 yrs and I had the hiatus from working out for 6 months last year. The good news is I didn’t gain any weight in that time frame as I stayed on ID Nutrition and the meal replacement shakes, with my hydrate and energy on the side. Those components helped me continue to be successful and maintain until my body was healthy enough to come back to the gym and workout again. I am not going to say our products will help you lose weight with no exercise but I can tell you your body will feel better, desire less crappy foods, and thank you while taking the products.
